Holidays are real-time data.

That statement may surprise you, but take a look at the chart below, which shows the percentage of our Centers that have changed their holidays in recent months. For all of 2008, an average of 8.8% of our Centers changed their holidays each month. This compares with a rate of 8.0% per month in 2007, 7.8% in 2006, 9.0% in 2005, 7.0% in 2004, 7.1% in 2003, 9.6% in 2002, 10.3% in 2001, 7.3% in 2000 and 9.4% in 1999.

If you only update your holidays once a year, you're going to get out of date very fast. That's why we monitor holidays on a daily basis. It's also why you should view holidays as real-time data, and why we're the people who can keep you current.
