Description of the Real-time Analytics

The Real-time Analytics service makes the Holiday Data available to you by means of sophisticated holiday and date-related functionality. The Real-time Analytics gives you access to bank, stock exchange and other holidays in over 690 financial centers around the world for 30 years into the future.

Functionality

There are four main functions:

  • Today's Holidays will tell you which Centers are closed today. To view a sample of the output from the Today's Holiday Window, click here.

  • The Multi-Day Window will tell you, for your chosen Center, the Status of each day during a time window beginning on the specified date and lasting for the specified number of days. For example, the 25 day period starting October 4, 2002. To view a sample of the output from the Multi-Day Window, click here.

  • The Strip of Dates will tell you the status of a given day of the year for the specified number of years, adjusted for the specified business day convention. The calculations can be based on either one or two Centers. For example, every July 10 for seven years starting in 2002 and adjusted in accordance with the Modified Following convention.   • The T-Plus Calculator will tell you the date that is the specified number of business days before or after a given date. The calculations can be based on either one or two Centers. Over 30 years of data

The data underlying the Real-time Analytics spans a period of over 30 years. Technically, the window starts on today's date and finishes on December 31 of the year that is 30 years from now. The current window extends out to December 31, 2035.

Constant updating

We monitor holidays on a daily basis because they change so frequently. We update our database as soon as possible after the change has been identified and confirmed.
