Privacy Policy

It is the policy of Swaps Monitor Publications, Inc., the operator of this site, never to provide any information about customers to third parties without the customer’s permission. That policy applies to this site just as it does to our other services. In particular, it means that none of the information we may obtain about an individual user of this site or his/her employer will be disclosed to any third party.

The public portions of this site are those which can be viewed by anyone and do not require a User Name or Password. They can be enjoyed with complete anonymity. We do not require the user to identify himself or herself, nor do we endeavor to surreptitiously obtain information about the user. In particular, we do not place cookies on the user’s hard disk; we do not gather electronic information about any aspect of the user, his/her computer, or any other sites the user may have visited; nor do we attempt to identify the user’s e-mail address.

The private portions of the site (i.e. those requiring a User Name and Password) contain services that are available only to those who have paid for them, or are receiving a free trial. In order to access these portions of the site, the user must identify him or herself and provide certain other information such as name, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address, browser type and operating system (“User Information”). We need the User Information to ensure the effective administration of the site, including protecting the confidentiality of our data, billing the user, tracking the usage of each page, and providing the user with information about our services.

From a privacy perspective, there are two principal differences compared with the public portions of the site. First, by collecting the User Information, we know the identity of the user and can track his/her usage of the site. Second, we may occasionally send e-mail notifications of changes or enhancements to our services.

We wish to stress, however, that the User Information is employed ONLY for the purpose of administering the private portions of the site. This means that, except for occasional e-mails from us describing new or enhanced Financial Calendar-related services, you will not receive any unsolicited contacts of any kind from anyone as a result of providing us with the User Information.

In order to ensure the accuracy of the User Information, each user is asked periodically to verify it, and modify it as necessary. The User Information is stored on a secure server that can be accessed only by authorized Swaps Monitor employees, all of whom have signed appropriate confidentiality agreements. However, while we use all reasonable efforts to protect your User Information, data transmission over the Internet cannot always be guaranteed as 100% secure and you use the site at your own risk.

We will keep the User Information for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was gathered, unless we are required to retain it for legal, tax, accounting or similar reasons.

In the event of a conflict between the terms of this Privacy Policy and the terms of any contract you or your employer have with us, the terms of the contract shall govern.

For analysis purposes, we use Google Analytics. More information about the ways in which Google collects and processes information can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners.

You may contact us regarding this Privacy Policy or your User Information by writing to Customer Service, Swaps Monitor Publications, Inc., 29 Broadway, New York, NY 10006, United States or by emailing [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Policy”.

This Privacy Statement was last reviewed on May 25, 2018. We reserve the right to modify it at any time. Although we cannot predict the nature of future modifications, to the extent that they erode any of the privacy rights described above they will be prospective only. If we weaken your privacy rights, the previous privacy statement will protect all User Information gathered prior to the modification date. In the event that the user is dissatisfied with any modifications to the Privacy Statement, his/her sole remedy is to cease visiting our site.
